·         Customer service skills

·         Fencing experience is a plus

·         Responsible and organized 

Please keep in mind that all group classes require online registration. 

  • If you do not register online, you might not be admitted to class and will not find out about class changes or cancellations.
  • If you do not have access to a computer, we will register you either by phone or in the MFC office.

Not a beginner? Come here often? If so, membership might be the best option for you!
  
Membership gives you the right to:
  • Use club facilities 7 days a week for open fencing
  • Receive discounts on group classes and private lessons
  • Receive discounts on camps, equipment, locker rental & tournaments
  • Book lessons on line, view your account balance and up to date class schedule
  • Wear club uniform and compete for the MFC team
  • Attend events and meetings hosted by MFC coaches & staff

Membership Options:
Annual membership:  $1000
3 month membership: $450
Family discount:        $800, 2nd family member; $600, 3rd family member
College Student:       $500 (from October-March including locker rental)



Floor fee option is available for non members- $30 per day.
This gives you the opportunity to participate in classes and take private lessons at member price for this day in addition to open fence.

USFA Membership:  Membership to the United States Fencing Association is required to participate in Manhattan Fencing Center activities.  This allows you to enter any official tournaments and it provides you with insurance in the unlikely event of an injury while participating in any fencing activity.
 
Liability Waiver: A signed waiver is required to participate in Manhattan Fencing Center activities. No exceptions. 

Equipment: Equipment can be rented or purchased on site. Provided for beginner classes free of charge.

Please note: Full fencing uniform is required to participate in electric and dry fencing in addition to any drill activity. This includes knickers, underarm protector, chest protector for women and protective cups for men.
