Coach Ayrat brings over two decades of international coaching experience and a distinguished career as a sabre fencer. A graduate of Kazan State Pedagogical University with a degree in Physical Education, Ayrat was a member of the Soviet and Russian National Teams for 11 years, earning medals at top international competitions including the World Championships, World Cups, and European Championships.

As a coach, Ayrat has trained national and international medalists in Russia, Kuwait, Vietnam, and the United States. His athletes have gone on to win at World Junior Championships, European Championships, and Southeast Asian Games. Most recently, he served as Head Coach of Vietnam’s National Sabre Team, leading them to multiple gold medals at the 2022 and 2023 SEA Games.

His passion for discipline, strategy, and precision has helped develop top-level cadet, junior, and senior fencers worldwide.
