Kern Hast

Kern is a dedicated fencing enthusiast who embarked on his fencing journey at the University of Florida. He has received comprehensive training in the elite program under the mentorship of Six-Time Olympic Coach Yury Gelman for the last 10 years at the Manhattan Fencing Center. During this time, Kern has honed his skills in coaching students of all ages and actively participated in national fencing competitions.

In addition to his work at MFC, Kern also serves as a coach at The École French American School in New York and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in biochemistry at Rutgers University.
