Nora Burke

SABER COACH

Nora Burke grew up in New York City training at Manhattan Fencing for 15 years under MFC coaches Yury Gelman and Sergey Isayenko. As a fencer, she was a 2x US junior national team member, 5x Division I NAC Semi-Finalist, and 2023 US National Champion. She was recruited to Columbia University where she competed on the varsity fencing team. She was a part of the 2019 NCAA Championship team and won the individual NCAA title in 2023 as well. As a member of the US senior traveling team, she competed at several World Cups and Grand Prixs, achieving several top 32 results.

Nora began coaching at MFC in 2024 and enjoys teaching fencers of all ages, helping them develop their strategic and technical skills.
