Roman Sydorenko

Saber Coach

Roman started his fencing career in Ukraine at the age of 7. During his fencing career, he was a Senior and Junior Ukrainian National Team member, two-time NCAA Bronze medalist in addition to many time medalist in National and International competitions.

Roman holds a degree in Finance from St. Johns University as well as a degree in Physical Education from the Admiral Makarov National University of Ukraine in Mykolaiv.

He had been coaching for 5 years at La Jolla Fencing Academy in San Diego CA and joined the Manhattan Fencing center team in 2022.

In 2021, his student Jaden Callahan represented the US National team at the cadet world championship in Cairo.
