Youth Camp
Youth Camps (Ages 5–16)
Our Youth Camps are fun, structured day camps designed for kids with little to no fencing experience (generally under 24 months). Camps focus on building strong fundamentals, coordination, confidence, and a love for fencing in a positive and supportive environment.
Youth Camps are offered during the summer months and winter break at our NYC, Englewood, and Waldwick.
A unique part of our youth program is the integration of chess concepts into fencing instruction. In select camps, kids participate in chess activities that help reinforce strategic thinking, patience, and decision-making. We teach students how to anticipate, outthink, and “foil” their opponents – not just through physical actions on the strip, but through smart choices, planning, and adaptability off the strip as well.
Depending on age, week, and location, youth camps may include fencing fundamentals and games, footwork and bladework, basic tactics, chess-based strategy sessions, age-appropriate fitness, and
team-building activities.
We offer several camp formats throughout the year, including:
- Musketeer Camp (ages 5–7)
- Youth Fencing Camp (ages 7–13)
- Fencing & Chess Camp (ages 7–13)
- Teen Camp (ages 13–16)
Camp availability varies by week and location.
(Englewood and Waldwick camps are listed under the NJ schedule.)
